Explanation.
In skateboarding we call the fisheye a death lens. Most photographers recieved a board to the head during shoots b/c they were so close to the handrail or obstical, hence "death". It also contributed to the overal asthetics of cinematography during videos. The sig is shot in a cool style, and so is your car, that is what I was saying.:)
Makes perfect sense. I have always referred to this lens as my death lens, for obvious reasons :)

When I see fisheye photography, I think of late 90s back-issues of Transworld.
That's all there fucking was for like... five years.
Yeah, the only time it isn't fishey is portrait stuff with medium or full format. And when videoing, the only time they use anything else is filler and super 8 or 16mm. It's pretty amazing the level of composition that people like Atiba and Moreford can achieve though. When you think about everything going on in a skate shoot, it can be boggling..... I guess that's why 1 out of 100 photos are perfect during a shoot.
