The Sport Evolution isn't that much better than the standard M3 aside from the gorgeous interior, which means you're really paying for rarity and collectability.

My Canadian Edition M3 is similar, though I was attracted to it due to the vastly different drivetrain over what was offered here on a standard M3 at the time. I don't drive it nearly as much as I'd like to, though, for the same reasons most buyers of Sport Evolutions don't drive theirs...
