neat but it's a 316i. it would be a nice base as a project (swap, turbo, etc), but I don't know that the originality is all that interesting because the 316i was terrible.

I mean, when I see a really clean, original looking Chrysler K-car, I think wow, that thing is really clean! but I sure as hell don't want it..

I bet EAG could ask near $100k for it and sell it in a week.

Haha, that would be great to see.

I appreciate ANY car with low miles in this condition. I mean, I have even looked at ~1988 Caravans or ~1994 Explorers on eBay and thought: "wow I hope no one ruins them". They are like time capsules or kind of like a time machine to see what cars like that and from that era were like. Since they are only original once I think it would be best to keep it that way but that's just me.

I'd keep it original....unless the engine popped or something....it's cool in that it's uber low miles and great condition.

Every other e30 in existence has been M5x swapped.

It's a shame he's going to swap it though. Even though it's a 316, that car is a time capsule and deserves to be left alone. There's plenty of E30s in lesser condition to swap instead.

I've got the equivalent in a loaded 325is in my stable right now. :)

Any car that old in that condition with that mileage is an incredible find. :D
