I wonder how much clear coat is left on that paint? That much hologramming suggests a ham fisted rotary user.

They say it's legit and someone actually did pay that. Maybe due in part to articles claiming the 325iS as the next best thing to the M3. Then there's also the EAG factor.

Insane. And to think we have 3 e30s in our family with even lower mileage, though two are not nearly as nice condition, total cost about $6k...

                          ......agreed. I can't say I've ever seen a 325is in this color. Only a 325ix, 318i/s, and the m-tech 2 325ic.

IMO, Most people will say 325iS (not that big of a difference between i and iS anymore) but I'd say the M technic convertible. They came fully dressed with the best options, 15" weaves, M technic suspension, m tech interior, leather wrapped interior, etc. It's just that not many people knew about this car and some don't like cabbies.

325i Sport and world market 325iS. Not the USDM "325iS".

South African versions would be the best with their aluminium panels and 2.7i engines.

EDIT: There are also the JPS and Motorsport edition 323i which are similar to a USDM 325iS (fully optioned) but based on a 323i.
