Alfa looks like it was rear ended with that kicked up rear. I for see the E30 gaining value as for the alfa, its more of a niche, and will not likely increase in value as fast as the e30

LOL guys I'm not going to school my son is. Guess I'd be paying either way though. This is number 2 in college...puts a crimp on car fun funds.

      Keep opinions flowing.

I dont disagree with your statement here as it pertains to the car in question. If said car was pretty much anything other than a spider, milano, or 164, my opinion would probably differ. There are some really awesome alfa's out there though. Milano's have a cult following but it is a car that is loved or hated with almost no opinions in between. its the detractors that will keep this vehicle from ever having the status of say, a 57 chevy, 63 corvette, or perhaps what an m3 is becoming. Personally, i think of this car akin to a mid 60's ford falcon in comparison to a mustang. Too bad alfa didn't have a "mustang" to go along with it.

Did you seriously bust out "irregardless"? 8) they tell me that isnt really a word. 8)

The e30 is FAR nicer. I came into this thread thinking "sell 'em both and buy a 325is" but that burganrot is pretty sweet (OP sucks for not noticing how rare and nice that color is).

The Alfa will never appreciate regardless of how clean or rare it is.
The Volvo 262C Bertone is another very rare car but you don't hear of it becoming more valuable with age!
The PO of my first e30 painted over burgundrot a shitty DIY black paint job in his green house complete with runs and pollen in the paint. I hated him for that.

Hey now..don't go blaming me for the Alfa! We'll call it your impulse birthday buy. Maybe even stretch it to a mid-life crisis purchase

Although I disagree with the majority of the reasoning and "logic" behind most of the responses here, I think if you are going to let one go, the Alfa makes more sense to part with. Use a little of that money to put functioning a/c back in Bergy, and it'll be a competent/comfortable daily.

I love e30s but I'd keep the Milano. My dad has a Milano Plantinum, believe it or not. I drive it occassionally and absolutely love it. He has euro pipes on it with no Cat and the sound is great. It makes my e30s sound like sewing machines.

Yes, the Milano is ugly, not worth much, and hard to find parts for but at the end of the day its a really fun, rare, quirky car. Alfa FTW.

I'd keep the e30 over the Alfa. Easier to find parts, large community, and you've already put a ton of work into it.

If you are trying to "pay off some debt" sell the car that costs more. You will get 5K for the alfa and have a car that is cheaper to maintain, therefore helping you pay off your debt ASAP.

E30 is the economical choice. Milano is for the romantic, and/or esoteric, especially so if it is your only car.
