Considering I can't read French and the pics are microscopic, I don't even know what I'm looking at. Buy suffice to say you could build your own identical tube trailing arms for 10% of what they're charging.Comment

yes, you could but you would then have to worry about liability issues. don't get me wrong, i have no plans to spend 4k on trailing arms for my e30. you would always be asking yourself if your welder's welds good enough?sigpic

that's probably why they are so expensive. qualified welders aren't cheap.Comment

Actually, they kinda are. Going rate for a welder around here is $25-30 an hour.
People tend to think welding is this super difficult task when it really isn't. A few weeks of schooling and you are a certified welder.Comment
