I drove it pretty aggressively for a few days...not once did I feel it bottom out or hit the bump stops....
Enough bickering about lowering an IX....theres literally a million threads on this...yes specifically IX's nando...google is your friend.
Lets see some more IX TOURINGS :) and stop pooping on this thread
jeeze, I wasn't bickering. I was pointing out that it's not a great idea to lower an ix significantly on stock housings. I wasn't aware that he'd already purchased them, and the tone of my first post certainly wasn't aggressive.
I was just trying to keep this thread on point boys, don't get your panties in a knot. Im sure Nando's knowledge would out way mine any day of the week when it comes to IX's or E30's in general for that matter.
With that said lets not let this thread become another "how to lower an ix thread."
Does anyone know the production numbers for manual transmission IX Tourings? Im genuinely interested in how many were made and how many are in North America.

3967 with a manual. surprisingly, only 1306 with an automatic.
since they were never officially imported here until recently I don't think anyone will ever know how many are here. I've seen them up in Canada for a while now though.
Installed the ST springs on the ix. I've been driving on them for the past 3 days and haven't felt any difference in ride quality compared to stock height...the one thing I didn't like, is the rear sits a little too low then I'd like, but the front is fine..think I will get adjusters to raise the car about 1/2 inch in the rear..but other then that, the car rides fine..oh I also added 15mm spacers in the rear since the wheels sit further in when compared to the front wheels
