Just painted my car. What do you guys think?

First time painting a car (well that's a lie. I tried once before, the dark blue that was on the car before, but it came out horrible because of bad temperature conditions) Had a friend (old school carpenter) help me this time, did it in his garage. I've painted some panels before and he painted his vette last year, that was his first car. He redid it about 4 times because of problems with the cheap paint he was using before he finally decided to buy something halfway decent. He picked up a pretty good spraying technique since he redid it so many times. I didn't make that mistake with cheap stuff and bought good materials. Used PPG for epoxy primer and HOK paints for BC/CC. Cost me about $1200 for all materials including a gun.

I will eventually be selling this car. I wanted to give it a good look and better my skill for my ls1 swapped e30. Considering we didn't do this in a spray booth I give it a 8.5/10. I literally just got home from his house. Still needs to be wetsanded and buffed. Most likely I'll get to it this weekend and upload some more photos

As for the color, I don't know. I don't love it. For some reason, I really just don't like E30s in blue. Looks like a pretty decent job though.

Reminds me of Bayside blue, but I would have removed the bumper trim and kept them black for some contrast.

+1 Even if you wanted to paint the bumper trim, it should've been removed. It looks like there will be some issues there if you ever want to take the trim off. See these 2 pictures:

I could always pull them off, sand them down and paint them flat black. It probably would look better thinking about it. Again, this was a "quick" job. Thanks for the feedback. I'll be sure to do it next time I paint. This will def not be a last for me.

Also for anyone interested the color is called stratto blue (fine) from House of Kolors.

not sure if it's the reflection being weird or what, but how bad is the orange peel? at least it looks like it can be fixed with some wet sanding.

other than that i actually like the color

Only thing your gonna get fucked on is the mirrors, you REALLY should have taken them apart.

How so? Each coat I pushed the mirror side to side so I wouldn't miss anything

Yeah there is some orange peel. It's not bad though. Some 1500/2000 grit wetsanding will take it out.
