2002 gets a lot of love too. My 911 gets me stink eye 97% of the time with the very occasional serious compliment.

    People are weird.

I get the occasional compliment from the younger generation, usually bmw or honda guys. to most its just a junky old car.

Now my 78 F150, i cant go anywhere without someone wanting to buy it. Shits getting out of hand and its just an old 4x4 with a 300/I6.

I hardly ever got compliments on my e34 touring. I think only twice. Both dudes. Both in target parking lots. Could have been just a proposition for b hole violation for all I know.

Ah yes, I thought that was you nervously pacing around your car after you parked it (If I had a car that looked that good, I would be too).
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I had someone stop me in a grocery store parking lot to tell me that "he loved the car, but that it needed some love." It was a very strange back handed compliment.

That being said, I almost only receive compliments from older men or notes left on my windshield asking to buy it.

Bishes love the fuel economy, a/c and thrifty style of the Focus.

Just bought my e30 earlier this month.. Haven't really driven it and just park it at work. Last weekend I decided to go on my first cruise with my girl, and while driving in traffic, a taxi cab calls out to my girlfriend who is sitting in my passenger seat and says "you selling your car? I will buy it".. And my girlfriend immediately responds with a "No, not for sale, sorry". Taxi driver then says "that's a cool car", and starts pointing at it and talking to his customers sitting in his back seat. Lol. Pretty cool feeling, especially since my e30 is nothing special. All bone stock and what not.

It's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!

I tend to find it awkward if it goes past a one liner or thumbs up. Always appreciate a nice compliment though.

I'v been drinking heavily tonight and I say NAY!

LOL, I thought I would subtly make my way back in unnoticed.

Only driven my car about 3 times so far. Got a compliment from a guy in an audi a7. It's a bone stock 325e to. Then he got in his a7 and it wouldn't start.. maybe it's the lapis that's attractive?

Once at VIR a guy offered to trade me his e36 M3 for my 1988 325ix. I don't know if that counts as a compliment or an insult?

One time at a restaurant, a guy wanted to straight up trade me his (maybe mid 00's, it was one of the 'homage' generations) mustang for my iS. He was being deadly serious, and his car looked and sounded loaded.... But I didn't go check it out. Didn't want to give him false hope. ;)
