I suggested you look inside an check your bearings after having two failures, and you found on correct? Todd is not in any means suggesting that at stock engine with 200k will run for ever on 16psi of boost. This car of theirs is a mule, so when it goes, it goes and in goes a new one.

It is wise to have a car with good rings and otherwise a great fresh engine to add any FI so the engines longievety (sp) is helped out.

          Diego,
Our car had impeccable service records. Synthetic oil from 1997. Ran aboslutely perfectly. Dynoed at 147rwhp STOCK! It's a very strong and well cared for motor. It was the ideal candidate.

I doubt we could ever hurt the mechanicals of the motor but the headgasket could surely pop. But that's what testing is all about. We push the envelope and see what happens. This will hopefully take the guess work out for people buying our kits. In my mind that is where alot of the value in buying a kit lies.

I see, my car has 94k mile son it, the engine it's in very good shape, when I blew the head gasket looked at the cylinders walls and was in good conditions, aslo the compression test was arround 180-190 PSI all the cylinders. OEM rods and crank bearing before got the the damm problem with the airplane fuel when one rod bearing went to hell.
