$800 e30 m3

Hey Guys !

I was just searching my local classifieds and found an E30 M3 for $800. The car is far from perfect.. being extremely high mileage at 240,000 Miles with a bit of a rough interior and exterior. I'm thinking about purchasing it to fix it up, and sell for a profit.

It will require Paint, Interior reupholstering, Brakes, Tires, a full tuneup, Water pump, ignition parts replaced, probably some suspension and who knows what else. Realistically I'm thinking all of that will cost around 10 grand. Would I be able to sell it for around 20 grand CAD? Which is about 15 grand US dollar

Let me know what you guys think, should I dive into this or turn and run as fast as I can lol

First, I would check the floorboards for sugary residue. You may have gotten lucky and the flour transported to the bakery may have coated the floors and prevented rust. Make sure any fruit fillings have been removed from the trunk, as they've probably gone bad quite a while ago. There have been a number of yahoos on here who think it's okay to pack the wheel bearings with hazelnut cream--ready access to the materials does not make this okay. Lastly, make sure to properly clean and maintain the center-lock wheels as they're hard to come by.
