well, it is an option, but its never been my style to stick an engine in a car that didn't come from the original manufacturer. it just seems like cutting corners for inexpensive power to me. i'm not trying to ruffle any feathers. its just my opinion.

          ^^HAHA!

But seriously, this thing is going to just eat rear tires like they are Halloween candy.

*Not saying I don't approve. Just waiting for YouTubes of said tires being destroyed.

Nice find! Are you giving up on your ix conversion or is it just on the back burner?

Yeah...can the cab chassis handle 400hp? Can you cross-brace it under the floor?

it pains me to say this, but.... Unfortunately, the ix portion is likely going to be compromised with the build. i don't see myself fabricating all the custom parts turk and dark side of will are using.

i have a hard top that will be on the car most of the time. that will help some. also, i don't plan to drive it like trina. that is definitely something worth looking into though.

You can buy one of these for an Alfa spider. Bolts right up to suspension points and steering box, makes a sort of truss out of the bottom of the car. They say it makes a huge difference.

I assume Trina was a Miata? I've heard amazing things about the chassis stiffening setups from Flyin' Miata, looks like that's what you've got on Trina?

If someone made a setup like that for the e30 vert... oh man....
