Might be harder because your car is RHD? On a LHD E30, it's not that difficult.

Have to admit that vs. other cars the same vintage, e30s are a breeze.

Not having to deal with bolts that shear off immediately you put a wrench on them is great compared to other cars of the era.

I'd say on an A/C M20, the oil filter is in a pretty crap spot.

The M30 & M50 are much easier to service.

For me, I think it is the stupid clips on the HV/AC slider system, I know they are the norm for this stuff but...you need tiny hands to get in there to get the job done.
I didn't think the tube was overly difficult, but then again, it was done with the engine out of the car. The clip is still a bitch though. I replaced mine with a pin.

I hate that my wheels are held on by lug bolts and not lug nuts. It's so annoying trying to put a wheel back on because you have to line up the bolt perfectly with the hole rather than the wheel just sliding onto something threads and using a nut to hold it in.

I have never been a fan of the transmission "sliding" bolts for the mount, it seems great because you can mount several styles of trans mounts, but on every car I have built, those are either already stripped or end up stripped. This may be more the northeast snow and salt to blame, but why not just put several body fittings in place, like for the CSB?

    Your most hated BMW engineering

I'm not talking about styles. I mean working on your Bimmer, what is the worst engineered design in your opinion?

I hate BMW aluminum fasteners. The WORST idea ever. I understand why they are used where they are used but I hate it.
