    Vlad, the infamous bodyshop bondo king, bought the mtech2 kit to fit onto one of the cars he was restoring. He fit the front and the rear, but not the side. What does that tell you?

    Also, if you buy oem, it bolts right up. If you buy the replica, you have to figure out how to mount it yourself. Also, if you buy replica, and you want to sell it in the future, it's worth less than half of what you paid, even if it's painted now. If you buy the oem kit, you can always sell it for what you paid for it. To me, that's the real selling point.

      i'm going to go one step further and say that the repo kit is practically worthless to resell. it will have very little increase to the value of the car once its installed. most people(myself included) will look at a for sale ad and once it is known the kit is aftermarket, will just assume its a load of cheap shit probably poorly installed and pass on the car no matter the price.
