    Mtech 1body kit value

What is a good price for an mtech 1 genuine body kit not including he trunk spoiler. I found one for sale that is in kind of rough shape but doesn't appear broken. Searched many times for values but only find mtech II

Also has anyone used the classic euro parts ones that are plastiflex.

Does it include the euro bumpers and euro front valence, because you'll need that too. It's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it. Personally, if I were shopping for a kit and it was in good condition and it included everything to bolt it right up, probably $1500. Which is the same value I'd place on an mtech 2 kit.

Value is subjective though. You might find someone willing to spend $2500.

No bumpers or metal valance included. I figured at 1800 to my door was a touch high for front and rear valances and skirts.

i would say both a complete mtech 1 and 2 kit in good condition is worth well north of 2k. 1800.00 is no steal, but probably worth it if it is something you really want and is in good shape.

I have considered the classic euro but was wondering if the fit is better than other reps. And I'm more interested in the I vs II that Abrahams has.

Also I'm at the point with collecting parts for this build if I can find a nice genuine set for decent I'd rather spend a touch extra.

ah man... i love mel abrahms and he is an honest guy. with that said, those rep kits are complete horse crap.

comparing this to oem is like saying jacking off with 80 grit sandpaper is just as good as having sex with a 20 year old hottie/goat/homeless guy's leaky butthole (pick your pleasure-no judgements here).

they don't even come close to fitting right, there is nothing built into them for mounting. they are made of cheap fiberglass and will break the first time you nick it. you will spend way more money getting a body shop to fit these than you would have just buying the real thing to begin with.

because they are shitty replicas and will cost twice the purchase price to make them fit correctly.

Does anyone have actual experience with either of these kits? Its really easy to regurgitate other 2nd hand experiences written by people who had no idea what they were talking about in the first place..

There are a few people on this board that do, you have to search, but I have not read one good review on them.

I searched forever to get my OEM Mtech II kit and it cost me, but it was worth it to me to go all OEM.

Sorry but no bumpers and rear spoiler? Let me guess, the NLA fogs are not included. Tell the guy to take a hike.

Look elsewhere and try to get the complete kit along with the screws and everything in one shot.

A mint COMPLETE kit is worth $2600 now. Start subtracting for condition and missing component from there.

                              m-tech 1 kit

Sorry to say that the m-tech 1 and two kits have gone the way of the m3...higher and higher.
There are not many real ones, but I had one a few years ago, and they are very easy to put on an early e30. So I would go for a real one. The one on e-bay is about right. I am hearing that the e30 parts guys in the uk are having problems shipping them for the same price they were able to a few months back...so that just means you pay more for a kit.
Good luck and go with the real thing, or as someone just said on this thread, you will pay a ton to make it fit right:)
