    E30 Bottle Openers?

Hey guys...was messing around on my plasma tonight and got the idea to make an e30 shaped bottle opener. If there is enough interest, I'll sell them on my site! Here is what they look like...so far e30 coupe, cabrio, and m3!

Thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing your opinions!

Very nice. They will look awesome when finished. Maybe a small hole for a lanyard could be an option. I want a vert.

I think your lever is on the wrong side. you would usually lift from the end with the "hook".

                  neat idea though!

The lever arm is opposite the point; frankly it could be either side. I originally had it reversed as you suggested but putting pressure to open the beer via your hand on the spoiler was a little painful (lol). Doing a lot of R&D for these is always fun but usually results in too much testing (i.e. drinking too many beers)!

I prefer bottle openers oriented this way. Makes the motion downward instead of upward, which I think is less awkward.

yeah I meant to make it lift upward. I guess if it's comfy pushing on the hood then that works too. It just didn't look like there was much to push on. :p

put a little hole in it so we can put them on a keychain!

How do these work on bottlecaps? Do they scratch the paint?

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

They bend them slightly, but they don't destroy the finish.

About the key chain version, I'm on it...will have something early in the week!

My key chain is coming soon. Same shapes but small enough for the ol' key ring!
