Bridgestone + 3 stop strategy = victory. Lighter fuel load and tires that perform better in hotter temps is what was the deciding factor here. Alonso could've been more of a threat if Michelin had a better compound....their 2 stopper went well for the most part but he was fighting the car through a few corners, particularly towards the end of a stint when his tires were beginning to grain a bit.

Nurburgring is in two weeks: Michelin needs a better compound and some cooler temps if they want to have a shot at P1 again.

Nascar is boring alright, but the only thing on TV that was more boring on Sunday was the F1 race. God what a snoozer. Another race decided on pit strategy. Gosh, thats exciting! At least there is acutal passing in neckcar.
