You listed the 325i and 325is even though they are the same car yet you failed to include more than one type of 318, which there was.

Yeah, i knwo. and i know that the "is" gets less gas mileage than the "i" bc of the high highway revs... but i picked 5 categories, and ended up having an extra one, so i just added it..

when it comes down to the 318 and 325e, i guess the 325e comes on top right?

I've never driven a 318, but I know my eta gets pretty good mileage.
              Gotta go.

i and is were same drivetrain except for the optional LSD which didnt change rear end gearing. so i and is in relation to gas mileage are the same.

Even with a Jim C chip, my car still gets 26-29 MPG on the highway. I've never really checked it in-town, but I don't get gas very often. And that's running 92.

                      I heart my eta.

My car's not really that slow. I can hold my own with a 325i just fine until we get up to speed, into the higher rev-range.

325i + great running engin + 2.73 rear dif = 34 mpg on the highway

If you want to pull them, then switch motronics and a better head, then also with a 3.73 LSD you'll have no problem. :D
