Because I sure as hell didn't. But apparently, you can. Wheels, spoilers, valances, steering wheels, shift knobs... all of it. It probably costs a billion dollars, but it's available!

Yup. It's probably all NOS stuff, not recently manufactured, so get it while it lasts!

..yeah, but some of that stuff you have to have a valid Alpina vin. For instance, the front/rear badges they won't sell you until you send them a picture of the vin plate. And even then it's a couple hundred for each piece.

This is absolutely true. I'm not sure about the picture of the vin, but you do need the original crossed out bmw vin and the alpina vin. Finding this info to get a set of b6 3.5s badges was a bitch. I spent months working on this before I finally figured it out. I know you also need this info to buy proprietary engine parts too. They still have a lot of drivetrain parts availible that aren't on the list posted above.

..can't say I blame them though.

They take their cars seriously, and want to limit bad clones flooding the market. :)

That being said, anyone know where I can find a C2 2.7 front badge?

So basically the way Euro BMW parts are now.

Right, they would devalue the Alpina brand and their parts if they let anyone buy them. They'd also run out of stock fairly quickly.

Scour the Internet looking for someone who has a car for sale. Ask them to provide the vin numbers so you can verify the car. Call Susan at ksk and get a good ass raping on the price. Presto.

Tie a very mean pit bull to the front of your car whenever you park it so some asshole doesn't come by and rip off the badge you just donated a kidney for.
