Porsche Carrera 4-cam engine

Porsche 4 cam Carrera engine. Each cam is 2 piece, so you have to set the timing on each lobe individually. The factory book gives 120 hours to set up the timing gears and time the cams from scratch!

Fantastic! That's unbelievable! Can you imagine machining all those tiny little valves? And what about the passages inside a miniature carb?! Wasn't there a guy in Austria or Switzerland who built a miniature Ferrari V12? Spent years machining every single piece by hand.

Found him - he's French. Ferrari 312.

Not just the engine - the entire car made to scale by hand! Insanity! 100cc flat 12, full injected, dry sump, with 1" tall valves.

And the noise it makes....
