e30 dimensions

Building a tire rack for my e30 and the car is in storage, not accessible. Would really appreciate knowing the height measurement from the ground to the top of the hood at the base of the windshield. Want to tuck the nose under the tire rack, and keep the tire rack as low as possible.

right about my pecker height.

since e30's vary depending on wheels and suspension installed, this dimension will be different. if you build your mezzanine 36" high, you should be safe.

Its not all about the length. You have to take in account the TMI (adjusted penis size).

((L*D)+(W/G))/(A^2)
Length times Diameter plus Weight over Girth divided by Angle of the tip squared.

I staggered through the snow drifts and measured:

Minimal clearance above the wipers of my non-lowered E30 is 94 cm high, 122 cm south of the most northerly extremity.
