That moment you go through your old stuff...

That moment you go through your old stuff and things seem to make a lot more sense. It happened to me today, going through some old Hot Wheels

It also turns out the fat chunky silver car my brother had was an M1 and I am sure there are more hotwheels but these are just a few I had. ironic now as I have 4 two door e30s...

The e30 has a mechanism that you pull it back and it will launch forward. I remember getting it from my dad's friend in the BMW club back in the day after we visited his house for some reason. You've got to love the alpina livery!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I love old pull back toy cars. I remember being a wee lad and trying to make them "drift" by sliding them on the floor.

If you were a "wee lad" when drifting was a thing, that makes you what, 17 now?

        Damn I'm getting old.

Being raised in Asia, I had more Tomicas than Hot Wheels in early 90s.
And recently I found out that Tomica launched a new product line consisting cars from 60s to 90s for adult targets-:

I had that exact same blue 8 series when I was younger. Man, I thought it was so cool looking.

not so sure about that. Seems to have early tails...so pre 88 I'm thinkin.

also, other than NA for 88, IIRC, everyone else got plastic bumpers

Nope... 87, same bumpers and early valance as mine...
Euro cars had two early version valances, changeover was in 85/86, I think.

My Dad's '87 320i sedan is like the white car.

Updated rear arches and front valence, but still with small tails and chrome bumpers.
