      Drive what you currently have and save your money. Keep what you have clean, presentable, and without a loud exhaust. Odds are nobody will see your car or give a shit, but if they do.... its a clean, older, well maintained BMW, and you don't have a car payment. Seems fine to me.

        Exactly what I was thinking. Why spend extra money on a different car to impress a boss you don't even have yet? What if he drives a 88 vert? Your car is fine. Work smart and hard. That will impress the boss, not what what car you drive him to lunch in.

        If your in sales and have prospects or clients to meet, that's a different story.

          the president of my company has a metal bumpered E30 vert in pristine condition and he loves his car (and he makes over 500k a year). He likes me even more becasue of my e30 lol, even though I tell him he needs to get plastic bumpers haha.
