Thanks for the replies. I've seen a few diving board e30's tucked and painted black that really give the car an aggressive look, but those weren't in alpine white and with plastic bumpers. Still on the fence about it, so we'll see!

imo that look has a lot of what we don't like about diving board cars. You want to use the strip of black which is there from the factory to break up the bumper and make it look thinner and sleeker. I would def not do it. There's a reason they came like that on pov spec cars
