Anyone recommend a good all in one tool set for patrolling the junkyards

Im looking for a good all in one tool set for patrolling the junk yards. I have an ass ton of tools at home and have been throwing them in a backpack but I'm a bit sick of that. Id love something i could just leave in my car. Im sure you guys know all the tools i need but it would be great to have something in a somewhat compact case... Any thoughts??

I have a full gear wrench set I use. I'll see if I can find a link. I added pliers and boom

Not possible in my opinion, you either bring a tool for every possible situation or you risk begging for the right tool when you find that diamond in the rough.

          Id say socket set, including the normal E30 MM sizes, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, (22/23 for steering wheel?)

T55, T50 torx, T20-40 or something reverse torx for transmission bolts.

          A couple open end MM like 17, 15, 19

          Two flatheads, two phillips.

          a thin plastic pry tool

          a wire cutter

          a BFH

Thats it, should all fit in a carryable box. I have not even carried that much though, I usually grab the screwdriver from my toolkit in E30, the pliers, and maybe my multitool.

                    my junkyard kit consists of:

                    metric wrench roll with 2x 10mm, 13mm, 17mm, 19mm wrenches and an adjustable wrench. one wrench each of 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18.

                    deep 3/8" socket rail, 10mm - 19mm, 21mm
                    shallow 3/8" socket rail, 10mm - 17mm, 19mm
torx 3/8" socket rail, whatever common sizes come on those

                    deep 6-10mm 1/4" sockets

stubby, regular and smallish flathead and phillips screwdrivers

                    channel-lock pliers

                    regular pliers

                    side cutters

                    3/8" breaker bar

                    3/8" ratchet

                    1/4" ratchet

                    rolling head pry bar

enough 3/8" extensions to get to the top bellhousing bolts (about 2.5')

have been able to remove pretty much anything I encounter and want using this kit.

my local junkyard has an autozone down the street, the guys say everyday they sell all these tools that people forget, including me a couple times.

I keep my craftsman 94 piece tool kit in my car (with added extensions and snapon long flex handle ratchet and a few other specialty sockets all in the tray) and my wright wrenchs 8-22mm wrench roll. I tuck a flat head and a phillips screwdriver into the wrench roll - 95% of the tools you need for working on an E30. Total cost for something like this on sale or harbor freight equivalent is around $75 or less. I keep it behind my passenger seat and feel confident I always have a good selection of tools with me.

I bring my Crapsman like 200 piece box and assorted pliers and crecent wrenches, depends on what I'm doing though.

^ same. Most places let you go in and out to grab tools so I usually go in with 10 and 13mm sockets and a phillips screwdriver and then go back to the car where I'd have a full socket set, torx sockets, pliers, different screwdrivers, etc. I pretty much replaced my trunk tool kit with a nice craftsman socket set so I always have that with me anyway...
