If so, that's a very creative way of cleaning up the front end while keeping it stock-ish

the car is an early model, diving board car. the front diving board had been painted body color along with the surround pieces, then tucked, then the rear bumper trim used instead of the front 3 pieces.

also added is the late model lower valance and vw mk3 lower lip, as someone else pointed out.

From my build thread...

I installed courtesy lamps in my doors, like an e90 or other modern BMW.
Enter e70 LED lights.

Cut INSIDE the tape. I put them about 12.5 inches from the outside end of the door.

All back together again. Wiring them in was the hardest part. They are triggered by the dome light wiring, so they come on and go out with the dome lights.

They'd have to be pretty small to fit in the mirrors though. There's tons of room in the door for it and I think it feels pretty oem, I need to get the thing that fades in the lights, that would make it next level cool.

Yeah, I kinda like the Orangey yellow euro lights in the front, I feel like it makes it look good.

I have the stereo wired to blanked defrost switch so it can be turned on/off without the ignition - nice option if you want to leave it playing with the windows down but don't want to leave your keys inside.

I put the amber mood lights out of a e46 dome unit and in my e30, I know its been done before but it's still a nice mod. I've tried getting pictures of them but I'm not good enough with a camera for low light pics haha

If I remember correctly, it is a rear bumper plastic strip on the front bumper.

I installed air-powered lumbar support on the driver's seat of my car from an e38/e39. was able to fit the pump on the under side of the seat, and made a custom switch mount in the console where the heated seat switches would normally go. I used a modified rear fog switch for the rear cut-out in the switch blank as a kill switch for my Valentine 1 and the power antenna. The lumbar support definitely makes a difference on longer trips!
