Anyways, the sheriff was a very chill guy and let me off without a ticket. Although, looking through my driving record, he says "wow, what a surprise - you have a speeding ticket on your record."

The cop was super cool. I lucked out. Yeah, the car is pretty fast - very good power to weight ~ 6lb/hp. That's equivalent to a brand new z06.

I've owned porsche 944s before my e30 - I'm anticipating a 911 purchase once I'm out of college.

I met that guy with the red 911 at Thunderhill last November (forget his name though) - chill dude and that car is seriously quick. Low weight & high power = perfect. I took a closer look at it when it was at Ron Kain's IPB Autosport a few months ago. You're a lucky bastard for getting to drive it :-P
