This also! I have an e36 rack and I really like it! Apparently the one to get is the purple label e46 clubsport rack. Do a PS delete while you're in there... and feel the road!

DSSR kit is really good to have as well.

IMO, the faster racks are too twitchy if you are going to go poly everything and m3 control arm bushings. I have a z3 rack and everything mentioned above and let me tell you, you really have to pay attention while driving. It's fun, but a bit much for daily driving. I may end up putting back in my e30 rack.

I've always wondered what a post '95 M3/Z3 rack feels like in an E30. I have a '97 M3 and after driving that and going back to the E30, I hate the E30 steering rack, way too much lock and too heavy. I guess I'll just have to swap it and see 😉

Have you done offset M3 control arm bushings? This seems to be the best combo on the stock rack. It completely changes the caster and makes it super nice. It's a quick and easy fix. But new rack is nice too! I wouldn't get rid of the e30 unless the rack was going bad. But I'd say the e36 rack is a good compromise. The z3 rack is simply nutz! Unless you're going for nutz, than its awesome!

Always going for nutz! I think I'll do a basic E36 M3 rack since I love the feel of it already. I may try the Z3 as well but I'm worried it'll make me not like the M3 anymore

              moar stickerz!

seriously tho, matching front and rear bumpers.
Is that rust or just dirt behind the sideskirts? I can't really tell. If rust, I'd get that addressed asap
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

                Not stickers, those are magnets.

Not sure what you're talking about behind the side skirts. There isn't any rust. The car is a little dusty in the pics from a 3 hour highway drive.

As for the bumpers, I actually wanted to piece together a Frankenstein of all my favourite bits. Always loved the cow catcher is bumper. Threw a Ryan g splitter on it and tucked the bumper. Always liked the mtech 2 rear bumper the best. Hate the mtech 2 spoiler so I went with mtech 1, and so on. I know it doesn't match, but it ends up looking different and I like it. And it certainly doesn't impact on direction I'm hoping to take this car.

This car will never be "perfect". It's a driver. My plan is to make it as nimble as possible over time. At some point it may become a dedicated auto cross car or I may enter it in Targa.

I get the impression you were trying to make fun of the car or me from your response to my question about mods. I happen to think there has been some great suggestion/discussion thus far from other members and I appreciate it.

FWIW I have the Renown Monaco Dark and I have not had any flexing issues. I don't track my car, but I do beat the shit out of it and put a fair bit of force on the steering at times.

+1 to steering rack, definitely makes the car feel a little tighter/more modern(but in a good way). I opted to shorten my steering knuckle using a 1/8" thick steel guibo (Instead of removing the collapsing pins for spacers), and the steering feels so much more connected just from removing that rubber. With solid engine mounts I get some vibration through the wheel while stopped/at idle, but the car isn't comfortable to begin with.

M3 offset cabs or poly equivalents, THR eyeballs or BW/ebay versions all make a big difference, just depends on what you want to spend for two bushings and how harsh a ride you're going for.
