I'm out of the loop for what Overcrest rally is but would you say this car being associated with it increases its value? I'm not one to care for a car's provenance (also not in the tax bracket to be buying car's owned by famous people) but curious if this makes a difference here. At least I would think this just shows the car was well built/maintained.

I don't think the association adds any value to the car, it's just a well built car with ok bodywork. We kind of went overboard with the mods/maintenance to make it as good as possible because our name was going to be attached to it in a pretty public setting.

Kind of sucks that it was sold cheap (relative to the cost) when it was benefiting charity, and now the rich guy that bought it will be making a profit for himself.
