    the market is changing

and cars being sold like this will continue to change the market...

I'm not sayin its worth the asking, but just the fact of what the asking is........good cars are commanding big dollars. So I don't want to start a riff over this asking...its just a sign of things....4 yrs ago?.....what is asking 12K?....10K?....7K?....lol

And as usual I sell before the market gets hot...sigh

EAG historically marks up prices a lot. One car does not set the precedent for the market unless they have a ton of mint 318iS stocked away.

    1991 318iS Sterlingsilber - 1989 325i Cirrusblau (sold) - 1990 318iC Brilliantrot (sold)

And I'm asking a mere $18,500 for mine!

Ha. Just kidding, two very different cars and two very different situations...

dealers always go high. they'll eventually lower the price until a sucker buys it.

Supply and demand. E30 was considered economic beater car in the 90s then every nice one was turned into "drift crap bucket" on the 00s then in 10s everybody was like "looking for late coupe, mint, so that I can turn it into crap bucket" as you can see in classified section on this forum.
All the nice ones that are left now are the rare barn finds with low miles, so those will be valued very high.

Same faith happened to Toyota Supra TT, in 1993 they sold good, in 1994 they sold OK, in 1995 sales slumped, in 1996 they barely sold any. So it was a fiasco for Toyota, then the movie comes out in 2001 and everybody wants one, prices go high do to supply and demand.

Wow, that is extremely high. I am sure they will bring that down a lot. It's good to see these cars move up in the world, but this is outta the ballpark. Even m3 prices have stabilized a little from last year.

I think that if you divide whatever EAS is asking for something in half, you get the top end of reality. Of course, they DO stay in business somehow...

This car does look like it's brand new ... there's not even any curb rash on those euroweaves. Cosmolene is still in the engine bay too.
