I have read up on his posts, threads what have you. I never had any real interactions from him, but thought it sucked that he closed the business, just assumed it was for his own reasons. My hope for all negativly affected is that he at least refund $$

Sort of reminds me of what happened to a local parts guy Joe Funk. He had a big sell off of parts, shipped a few. But I think demand got overwhelming and he ended up closing down, with lots of people left in the dark and parts not shipped

This thread is unique. It offers insight to a guy who is as enigmatic as he is decisive. A rarity for this message board. I don't think Luke will post here. I don't think he believes he has to.

I think Steady330 got it right: there seem to be two different sides to Luke. I'd always seen the short and rude side, and it wasn't until I'd searched more deeply about other issues, and over time, I gathered the sense that hey, at one point, this guy was pretty cool!

I would have really liked to talk to the nice Luke. My only personal interaction with him came in a thread about SI board batteries, where I felt I had to articulate my words in a very positive and open manner in order to get what I perceived to be a neutral response from Luke.

... I talk to a lot of people through my job and normally I use this approach for people who are hard to reach and maybe aren't as responsive as they normally would be.

Does Luke owe anyone anything? If they paid for it, then yes. But honestly, I feel he has enough stuff on his plate right now. Give him a break and let the man sort himself out.

I'm in the same boat right now. He's seen the thread, he knows about it. If he hasn't responded theres a reason. Until he responds or someone can shed light on the subject that actually knows him I feel like we're just digging a grave for a guy who isn't even on death row yet.

I searched several boards with GAS advertising (e.g., bimmer, e46fanatics, etc.) and found three distinct times where Luke has professed to 'throw in the towel' and close German Audio Specialties, because of too many complaints.....then after a while, each time he took it back and reopened as though nothing happened. It seems to be a shtick of his when he stiffs enough folks for long enough.

Wow. He has a strong fan club, and I was a dues paying member for a while myself. I don't know what to say.

I'm another guy that's had only good contact with Luke, but have also read many seemingly unreasonable responses/defenses from him involving others. I still want a Lukebox, but not enough to take the risk. Bummer.

I have se n him on FB saying new things are for sale and continued sales on his e30 box. I am tempted to make comments and post links to this tread, but I don't have a dog in the fight. OP. Though, I would say look for him there and comment since he has stiffed you

Just a quick FYI: I do keep an eye on things here.

Here's a real FYI: the guy who started this thread got his money back AND has my product. That's theft in my book. I should know better than to accept an order from someone who won't even use their full name.

The other woman, the one saying I called her all I kinds of stuff? Nah, I called her a crackhead because she sent me a long message saying how shes involved in all sorts of law enforcement...yeah, well, she won her paypal dispute, but refused to send my products back to me, so paypal reversed her claim.

Ill post up her message if you like. She went off like a 10lb block of firecrackers, but since she can't follow the rules and send MY products back, she lost. Not my issue.

So kids, the moral here is dont believe everything people say.

Im still here. Im still building, still shipping and still dealing with all of this.

Oh, and I STILL don't have an E46 to work with...
