    who's car is that?

yeah there's tons of room for a turbo on the ix.. personaly though, I want to build an NA stroker. I'd be happy with 200hp/220ft-lbs. :)

It looks like there might be more room! I still vote for non turbo

well today i walked out to my car....its not losing just oil, the head gasket is blown, its nice and milky out there. Dave never emailed me back about his engine, so i am going to order parts to fix mine as well as low compression pistons.

What head studs should i get (planning for the turbo)? and where can i get them

ok, found one cheap site....go to : http://www.mcmaster.com/

on the green bar on the left side of the screen, type in "metric 12.9". that should give 2 results. choose the second one called "Metric Class 12.9 Alloy Socket Head Cap Screw". then, choose the corect propertys.. "Class 12.9 Blue-Coated Alloy Steel", then under thread size choose "m10" then choose "150 mm length".

                  Part Number 91303A306

$9.60 / pack of 5, youll need 14 of them. so buy 3 packs. youll need a 10mm hex head socket to torque them down

                  hope Helps

I don't think those are head studs diego. they look like regular bolts with a 10mm allen head.

Since this is going to be a daily driver, and it doesn't sound like you were doing too hot a job with maintence anyway, I'd definetly advise against a turbo. Since this is a street car, you'll want reliability to be the number one priority Building a mild stroker would be ideal for that.

I haven't seen a turboed M20 yet that can be considered reliable, and seeing as you're mating it to the already fragile 'ix drivetrain, that makes it double so.

                          I'd definetly go NA.

actually i take very good care of the car and it gets regular maintenance. I had it checked out, and they said that it would go eventually but it wasn't worth fixing at the time because it wasn't leaking much oil. I think it had the leak when i got it. It had very low miles, i think i am still cleaniing up the aftermath of the PO. So that is an incorrect assumption. Although i think you make a good point and i might want to stay away from a turbo, i just like to be different.
