but my non M seats are same as M...support, bolsters etc etc..and its a coupe
    ok.

here are the seats from the m roady i parted out. to me, they are probably the most comfortable seat I've ever sat in that came from bmw. if you have this seat in your coupe, you are one lucky fucker.

this(or a variant of it) is what 90% of z3's were fitted with from the factory.

now that you mention it, she was uglier than a smashed ass. the kind of chick that if you accidentally have a sexual thought within a 50 yard radius of her, your penis shrivels up and runs the other direction like a scared little girl. think rosie o'donnel

^^I've got those seats on my z3 3.0. Nice car, fast, daily driveable. The non M does not have the screamer cams like the M cams so it doesn't keep pulling as hard above 5000 as the M cars.

They are fun to drive, just not very practical. Can't fit a load of groceries in it very easily, can't fit much luggage besides for 2 over a weekend trip or so. They aren't comparable to e30s in the practical sense but if you don't need it to move anything besides a bag every once in a while, go for it. Just get the 6 cyl, I don't think the m44 has enough punch in such a heavy car. I picked up a hardtop for mine too.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I purchased an m roadster a couple weeks ago and I've been very impressed by the chassis. Feels like a great hybrid of e36 and e30.

The interior in the m is great, leather wrapped consoles etc. Chassis in general though is very fun. You have to step over the door sill and into the car. Brakes similar to an e36 m3, maybe slightly better due to less weight. Very predictable, e30-esque feel when the butt is out. Similar kinda sketchy feel cornering especially back on the throttle, like an e30 with an s50/s52 swap.

Makes me want an m coupe though

                E30's fit more people.

Z3's are an E30 with a swap and more rigidity (vert to vert, coupe to coupe).
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Thread from a couple years back.

Still thinking about Z3’s. Any more comments?

e30s are more practical than z3's. i remember going grocery shopping and having to put the groceries in the passenger seat of the z because they wouldn't fit in the trunk. They drive great and have good power with better engines but I am not sure the z3 is more fun that an e30. call me old school but I don't care about ac and leather seats, but I do care about having a rev happy engine and a chassis that feel like its working. in the newer cars, like the z3, it feels so effortless that when you get to the limits you are close to getting into trouble
