The engine might run okay if the sock is in very tight and saturated with oil. I know for a fact that with the engine will not be happy if the cap is removed during idling.Comment

I don't understand all the hate. All I've done is try to help someone out if they lose their oil cap and everyone has attacked me for it.
You've all said it's a vacuum leak but still no one has given me a link to any kind of proof. I don't use my motor to clean the floors because I have a vacuum for that. I don't see any similarity.
I'll keep driving like it is and hopefully someone gets use from my discovery.Comment
