I'm going to leave the undercoating alone except for where the previous owner messed it up on some off the main rails. That's being redone with oem tan. Respraying paint on areas where the paint has worn off, but not undercoating. It will be red underneath just like factory.

Haha! We're way past that my friend-going on year 3 of the restoration. The work is part of the enjoyment for me. That's the difference between this and fixing a daily driver. No deadline.

I agree with your current plan of touching up the rails where the undercoating was marred with OEM tan. I think everything is in GREAT shape, but looks a little dusty, and if you wanted a show car, you could clean it so that it is absolutely immaculate if you wanted to.
I love your restoration! I'm glad to see you're taking your time, so you can savor it that much more when it's out on the road.
