    Got custom halshafts?

Totally custom halfshafts, hoping not to break at least the stock crappy halshafts in hard lunches. It was a hella work to make these fit and work.

Good job Diego , that is some nice shit .

Are the u-joints something common like a GM or Ford fitment that will be easier to replace in the future ?

Any chance you could source/fab another set for your good friend from Texas ?

considering Diegos relationship with Jeep, I'd say they were heep parts, or similar. Might be wrong though...

with enough force, anything will break.

Are u-joints supposed to flex that much? Those things are certainly going to see a lot more vertical movement than something like a driveshaft ever would.

Thanks ROb, and yes, you are right. Both are Jeep front drive shafts and took the old 318ti halfshafts ends to make this custom shafts.

teaguer, thanks for the words. Well i just wrote to a member who asked me if i would be able to make them. I said I could, but cost would be high since I don't have junkyards of BMW like in the states to source these halshafts and for the Jeep side, well it would be easier to find some frotn drive shafts donnors but all in all, with labor would cost some serious bucks.

Yeah, they are fully balanced, strongest weld you ever have ( not cheap weld).

The u-joint are the newer style that are reinforced and has a lot more stress resistence.

Why both u-joints in a side? Easy, they were like that already, second it will provide fully articulation if needed in some cases and won't make it weaker.

I will check if there is any e30-e36 halfshafts donnors and also jeep driveshafts arround here, if there are, well I coudl fab another set. Also the yokes are not easy to find since are found attached in use i the transfer cases and front axles.
