Never got anything worthwhile out of the new seller. What was the previous "sold" price on EBAY? $7k? $8k? There is no way that a rational person would have bid this much on this car sight unseen. There is also no way that a rational person would have bid this much AFTER seeing the car in person. So, I am not sure what the seller is trying to do here.
I see from the posts above that several members reached out to the seller with questions. Did the seller ever provide any worthwhile answers to the questions?Leave a comment:

Looks like a really good car in the new ad, didn't see the old one.
Left quarterpanel looks pretty wrong though. The reflection looks wonky in every pic, and the paint looks pretty orangepeeled in the one close shot. Looks like either it took a good hit to the arch, or it was replaced?Leave a comment:

i emailed the guy too.
here is what i sent:
I watched this car sell on eBay a couple days ago. i'm assuming you are the new owner and are flipping the vehicle to make a few dollars?
My question is that since this car has a lot of little rust spots and rust holes, why did you not post pictures or make mention of them in your craigs ad? i highly doubt the car could have been repaired that quickly. even so, it seems dishonest to not mention this critical detail. i sincerely hope your intention is not to cheat someone in order to put a few dollars in your pocket. i'm happy to give you the benefit of the doubt, but i have to be honest and let you know that it kind of looks that way. Generally, if you do bad things to other people, it always comes back around to you in spades.
good luck with your sale.

He has responded once, completely ignoring the questions I asked him.
Sent a response again asking about any issues, regardless of size/significance and asked specifically about rust.
Will update with what he says.
