I found in the classified a 1990 325is with 170k miles, black on black and he's asking for $4500.00. Is this a fair price?;)
How much is a 1990 325is worth??

Actually I am old enough to drive and have personally built 2 of my previous cars. In case you can't tell it was a joke but kids like you take it too serious.Originally posted by SeattleKidyou are worthless. Do you even own an e30? Are you even old enough to drive? Go play video games with your little buddies.

It all depends where you live and how the market is there.Comment

I live in the bay area (northern california), it is higher here than anywhere else. I haven't seen the condition of the car, but the car looks ok in the pic. I'm just wondering if it's worth test driving the car.
At 170k, what are the major changes that I would expect, like maybe a new clutch or suspension changes? If those weren't changed, is it still worth the price?Comment

Yeah I agree, ca has tons of e30s in general. They should be cheaper here. In Ga it the car is in great condition, with a good interior and records 4500 might be ok, but i would try to get it for 4000. Out here there isn't really a rust problem so good e30s are fairly easy to find. I would say 3500 to 3800 would be a good price. Check th bushings and suspension components.... when I bought mine I was able to talk the guy down 800 bucks because of the shock/ control arms.Originally posted by MR 325There's plenty of cars in the Bay Area man, keep looking!Yours truly,

there are no E30s left in georgia in good shape, most of them crashed and bringing them from hitlerland :D (GERMANY) is too expensive, so we all try to do DIY and rebuild them with our limited funds :(
so do i, i crashed my E30 318 last year and now i got a new body and im rebuilding it, its still under construction :)

It all depends on condition. E30's have reached the point where a quality example, regardless of milage, is practically impossible to find. I searched for months for my mint 318is. 10k is a steal for VT Bimmers rediculous 325is. That isnt to say that this guy isnt out of his mind trying to get 4500 for a beat to shit car just because its a BMW. Check out the car. Youll be able to tell if its worth the price.Back to my roots
