Maybe it's time to grow a beard Anthony ;)
Seriously though - I think your woodgrain cover looks great. At least it's something different from the wrinkle black with the raised sections sanded back (as on my car, and many many others!)Comment

My buddy's E30 'vert has the OEM wood dash kit and its pretty ugly, but at least not as bad as the aftermarket ones I see pics of.
I've mostly thought wood wheels look out of place in E30s, especially late ones, but I regret not jumping on the 370mm Nardi OEM from a JDM MX-5 SE on Ebay a month or so back. Dark wood and black spokes, it would have looked proper I think.sigpic

^ that's how I feel about wood wheels. I want a nardi with flat black spokes for that classic car feel but it would just seem out of place on our cars.

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheelsComment

Everyone knows lumberjacks don't need extensions...I wonder if it's an extension of the whole lumberjack thing
as to the woodgrained valve cover, that's... well.... I'm speechless.
Over the top, maybe?
tnow, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george gravesComment

I just don't get inconsistant wood grain. If you want wood do it right, wood wheel, shift lever, accents... to just have one piece of wood in a car seems incomplete or half assed.
Also imo wood painted things that obviously aren't wood like a valve cover is nowhere near as bad as people adding fake rust to plastic front bumpers and other plastic body panels.Jah bless! :pimp:Comment

to me, wood is the biggest offender in the list of "trying to make my car look more expensive than yours"

Definitely not a fan. Especially on steering wheels. I'd rather have some grip than something that looks completely out of place on an 80's or later car.Comment
