    Always go see the car in person. It's infinitely cheaper than spending time fixing everything extra after the fact.

      I wouldn't make a high dollar purchase through ebay. They make both parties feel like they are fully protected but they will obviously side with someone while the other gets the short end of the stick.

        OR get an independent third party involved (who has nothing to gain/lose if you decide against the car) to inspect it. They have no reason to side with the seller, esp. since your paying them for their time.

        saved me huge $$$ in the past on several cars.
        If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!
