Currently more 30+ users than under, interesting, but not unexpected as these cars get more pricey. The e36 (non M) crowd is probably a different story.

      I recently turned 59. [emoji41]

        30. Around 12 I got obsessed with BMWs and wanted an e30, so when I was 14 (2001ish?) my dad bought a beat to shit '84 318i project car. Since it turns out my dad knows shit about how to fix cars or how to research and figure things out, that project failed miserably. Owned several e30s since then, none of them really being fun to own for long, so I'm calling it quits and selling everything this summer...

24 here and picked up the vert when I was 22. Had a few E46s from 21 onwards. Other E30 guys I know are 23-26.

That was true with me as well.

Course, I was still very much in to 'merican muscle back then. So it was Chevy, Ford, Mopar..etc.

About the most exotic we got was the Aluminum Cossie 4 in the Vega. They didn't really catch my eye until I ended up with an E21 when I hit my early 20's. By then, gas prices started creeping up, and I was getting in to non-American stuff. Had an AE86, my Vortech powered Focus, that E21, but then one of the Focus guys I hung with got me in to racing E30's and it went downhill after that! ;D

I'm 21. Got my first BMW when i was 16 and first e30 when I was 17. I have had a total of 6 BMW's but currently only have 4 in my fleet. I prefer to have a couple really nice cars then many meh cars. Quality over quantity. I have also adopted the no sell rule. So what i got now will be with me until the day i die and will only grow.

interesting, I would of thought 80 percent of the people on here were between 18-21.

                        Impressive!

You're getting close to this guy who owned 50 2002s by embezzling over half a million..

                            32 years young, damnit!!

Loved e30's for 8-9 years, bought my first at 30 when I could afford a second vehicle - wasn't into DD'ing one in Vancouver.

                              maybe 10-15 years ago/

now, not so much as prices climb and nice examples are drying up.

Considering that most of the people in that age bracket don't even know what a forum is, eh. They've moved on to Instagram, Facebook pages and junk like that.
