He's getting a bigger brake kit, the inside of the RKs won't clear it.

We argued this on S14.... pro's cons of those hood vents.....

Flow of the front airdam is meh to me... giant center flanked by another giant hole for tow hook....
The roll bar? it looks like a hoop, with harness bar, and one oddly placed diagonal... I would have expected a little more structural regidity and strengthening given this is a track car. Just me though

Lower lips are cool, I think he should keep the pinstripe myself.... but that doesnt really matter. Glad to see he finally got it back.

Whats wrong with his fenders, why wont they clear the wheels?
The front bumper has beem smoothed out, the valance lowered (tow hook cover is being painted), with a splitter added. How you would go about designing a more functional bumper that was also aesthetically appealling is up to you, but this is what we came up with and the end result is very high quality. You can't possibly argue that the design is worthless, as it covers fundamental DF-increasing point, which will be balanced out by the rear.

The Rollbar is nothing DAS Sport is stranger to. They are one of the most respected names in Porsche rollbars/cages in the US, and their popularity is growing in BMW circles. The materials are all top-shelf, lightweight tubing and the fitment is ten times better than any other bolt-in bar i've seen (which is all of them), the harness bar was made removeable as per my request and the angled bar also allows me to use the backseat for utility.. this is not a track or race car, its a street car that will see track use.

The wheels are very low offset, thus rub against my rear fenders. I'll be rolling those out and increasing the spring rates to help counter that problem, but will likely end up replacing the wheels in the future when larger brakes are installed.

            1) Please dont think I was flaming your design. Simply giving my personal input. Overall, that doesnt matter because I know you are VERY pleased with how it turned out. I certainly give you  for being different and implementing your own designs. And when I said flow, I meant aesthetic, not aerodynamic.

            2) A custom rollbar will always fit better than a bolt in bar. Custom bars dont have to account for chassis variations. I also bet your custom bar cost a lot more than most bolt ins, and still lacks many attributes I value. Again, just my

            3) I still have yet to see definitive proof those vents are helpful. Again, not trying to flame and not trying to belittle your design, just pointing that out before everyone goes and grabs a die grinder to put vents in their hoods. This point was beaten to death on S14, so I'm not going to argue... 1) I dont know enough about airflow and drag attributes 2) Again, your design you like it, thats all that matters in the end.

Congrats on getting it back. Hopefully the rear wing and decklid will turn out with as nice a finish as the front parts.

will all these parts be for sale or did cdoc do is as a one-of thing??? reason I ask is because i wanted to get a custom front and rear made for my car (plastic bumpers with airdam and apron that actually are functional) but i doubt there is any market for such pieces for the eta... i am also very interested in the roll bar as i am in the market for one... any info would be appreciated since there is little info on cdocs site... feel free to pm me

workmanship looks top notch... very very nice!!!

They'll be for sale. CDOC will only be producing the panels already completed for the E30 body.. custom work is by contract, so you'd have to contact them to discuss a quote, etc.
