I got my yellow for $80, but that was a shady salesperson hookup thing deal that we worked out. I worked at Best Buy at the time, so he hooked up the battery, and I hooked up the car alarm. Both parties were satisfied. :)

I got 2 bluetops in my car and it kicks ass. Run my sounds at full blast for about 5-6 hours, car starts up fine.

My friend has 2 of those kinetik 2400's in his car, beasts.

Blue is basically a yellow with another set of terminals and more CCA (some say its the same CCA as a yellow, mine has more, but that could be because I have the big blues, I may be comparing different sizes). 1 set on top, 1 set on the side. When you have lots of audio and shit, the extra terminals are helpful.

My yellow has both sets of terminals too. And yes they are handy.

That is why I will likely drop Optima in favor of Kinetik. Lighter and now, due to Optima price increase, nearly the same retail price.

found an old post. that is weird you had probs with your yellows. I have 2 yellows right now. one of them is 5-6 years old and has been in 3 different vehicles. it even sat for nearly a year. its been ran completely dead down to 4 volts twice as well. i have it in the e30 now. the other one is about 3 years old and is in the new to me jeep i picked up in august, turning over like a champ no matter where i'm at. 115 in the summer, or 15 in tahoe in the winter. the one in my jeep is on a stereo with old school rockford power 800a4 and 500a2 so they are putting out quite a load, and I have 150amp alternator.

If my e-fan ever kicks on high=50amp drain, and the system is on, voltage goes to 12v but stay's there until i give it some rpm to about 1100 while at a stop.

                        Same here.

Also, I have a lot of feedback through my stereo and a buddy said that a redtop would get rid of that. He said it worked in his car, Is this correct?

                            Luke,

Watch out for Kinetic. I still have one that has not been repaired and went through a few on different projects.

Yes, it will fit fine. Red tops are standard size batteries so anywhere a normal battery fits, a Red Top will.

Redtops are noticably smaller than most batteries. My stock E30 battery hold down would not fit/work with the Redtop, it was too small to reach.
