I have 225's on a 16x8 rim, very slight stretch

Extreme stretches (205's/195's on 9"-10"+ rims) put a lot of inward pull on the beads, theres a high chance of losing a bead and getting a flat.

hey i live in CA, and i have seen many a cars with 12" daytons and 165 tires totally stretched out. the best one i have seen was a car where the guy flipped his stock celica rims backwards, so that the rim was sticking HELLA far out...looked dangerous as hell. i passed him quickly and never looked back.

My friends run extra pressure in their stretched tire setups to help prevent the bead from popping loose. They run 215/40-17 on 17x10s and 235/45-18 on 18x10s. We're talking 80-90psi tire pressure here.

My friends run extra pressure in their stretched tire setups to help prevent the bead from popping loose. They run 215/40-17 on 17x10s and 235/45-18 on 18x10s. We're talking 80-90psi tire pressure here.

I hope the tires are rated for those kinda pressures :P

Tall flat sidewalls make a lowered car look like a SUV/Truck and stretched tires on dished wheels make a lowered car look cleaner/baller... I guess you just have to have some dish to like stretched look..something you 9 million kopi groupies wouldnt know about! ahha
