the truth is you are really buying a hell of a lot more than this. there are hundreds of random proprietary m3 parts there. used, they would total thousands of dollars. most of them are nla from bmw. the ones that are still available are....well....you know.....expensive. it is complete other than the engine and possibly the trans. the interior is original and doesn't look too bad from what I can see. it definitely needs a full glass out nut and bolt restoration. I have an s62 what would fit nicely in that engine compartment......

I have a s14 looking for a home. It would be good to marry the engine back to the car. I'm a buyer.Pulling my hair out with all these friggin BMW's:

I've been there with the windshield rust. I honestly would expect to spend 5-8k.. If i remember right I paid less than 5k for mine in similar shape. another 8 grand or so on an s14 rebuild(even more since your missing the original engine) maybe an s5x swap. and easily $10,000 on body work, paint, rust, suspension - it all adds up. Sure these cars are selling for good money, but not ones in this shape.....

Man, if I had the opportunity to purchase that for 5-8k, I would buy the shit out of it. Yes, it’s going to cost a lot to fix, but it’s an m3.sigpic

Yes the entry price for a project m3 is tempting, but the smart money buys a good clean example for 30-40k and in the long run you come out on top. That being said I would buy the shit out of it too lol.Pulling my hair out with all these friggin BMW's:

$200
But really. Some ass hole will pick it up for 5K and part it out before getting $200 for the scrap metal for the frame.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

I would guess around 15. It’s rough but it’s got a clean title, looks like all the body panels are there and the suspension is big money. Quite the project ahead of you plan to restore correctly. If you pick it up def let us know what you paid.

For me personally, I would rather have something along these lines with a clear title. The rust issue is a bit disconcerting, I don’t care that much for an s14 anyway.
I’d rather find one like this so I don’t feel bad dropping an itb v8 down it’s pie hole.sigpic

The Alpina stripe kit + a steering wheel and shift knob is much easier / cheaper to procure than the whole usual B6 kit (thanks to the B6S using the stock M3 body).Comment
