    Happy 300,000 original miles

Hello everyone! Just wanted to post in with a pic of my car turning 300,000 original miles... it’s a 1986 Eta, and I am the second owner, my very good friend bought and owned the car since new so I have all records and know for sure the mileage is 100% accurate, it is my daily driver and I hope to see it get to 400,000 miles this car just keeps going.... happy driving r3vers!

Impressive! It appears to be in good hands.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I was thinking of pulling out the engine and completely rebuilding since my mileage is up there but a big part of me wants to just completely reseal it and keep running it to see how much further it will go since it still runs so good and it’s an unmodified documented original. Who knows maybe a real world example of a million mile e30 hahaha :)

I would just let sleeping dogs lie, would make the mileage even more impressive

'86 Eta is the best E30! (I'm biased)

I can't decide if I'm more impressed with the mileage or the fact that it still has a working odometer :)

That is awesome. My 85 eta is at 230,000 original unmolested (so far) miles. I am the second owner too. And the odometer works perfect. I think eta's are made to go forever...
