nice.. i used black wrinkle paint on mine but i like that HD paint better.. i just did the intake and valve cover on my 2.2 turbo for my shelby charger. now i wish i had that paint when i did them.
Yeah, i thought it was wrinkle-finish when i bought it, and i was Actually disappointed when i sprayed the first coat.. but now im extremely happy it is what it is.
As for sanding/ grinding down.. the Perfect tool is..
A small block of hardwood , and Porter-Cable 100grit Stick-On sandpaper, for use on wood/metal/ fiberglass, etc. Resin Coated.
It works magically.
well, i went to the HArley Davidson dealership, whoda thunk they had it there?
i mean i looked everywhere for this harley davidson brand paint, but walmart didnt have it, sears didnt, none of the auto stores had it.. , Ebay didnt even have any...
so i finally found it at the HD dealer for a whopping 21 dollars a can.
(sorry man.. but it was a poor question.. unless of course you dont have a HD dealer in your town, in which case it is ok.)
i recommend the stuff.. even those its for Harleys... and were putting it on a BMW..

if you realy want, paypal me the moeny, and ill go get it for you and send it.
ill even send the reciept.
You can't send aerosol cans through the mail. They are prone to bursting due to the several changes in altitude and pressure suring shipping, and if it does, it will be traced back to you and you'll get quite the hefty fine. Trust me, I used to work in a post office for 2 years. Companies that ship aerosol cans do so using careful methods, and they are usually ground shipped.
That being said, your valve cover looks awesome. Golf, there's many different brands of krinkle-finish paint you can use, they all come out looking the same.
