At this point in time I can't see myself driving anything else. As soon as I get the HVAC fan to work 24/7 my planets will have aligned

My co-workers who don't know horse dung about cars are immediately smitten by this sweet song of a car...

i hate daily driving my waterleaking in, ice forming inside of the windshield, no real heat having, puddles in the footwell comp., automatic, slowass, piece of 4 door junk eta, ohh, and i love how i cant see out my back window, cause the condesation that forms on the INSIDe wont go away, cause the rear defrost only defrosts 1 line. OHH, and the constant mold smell in the car only bothers me sometimes!
but most of the other e30s i have had"for daily driving" have been wonderful.

I would have to agree on almost all accounts. I just dont know about the poly bushings yet for a few more months. :) I do know that I when I dinged my black one and even had the thought of not driving it for a couple months, I started looking for a beater e30 to drive as a daily. The 2 are so different now, but I love getting into the lower car, putting on the harnesses and busting through some twisties on my hour drive to work. Just going to have to cut back for a while now as the rain struck, so I drive the bronzit beater like an old man cuz I dont want to buy a 3rd daily :)

I daily my car but due to a little run-in I recently had with mono I didn't drive it for a few weeks. When I finally was able to drive again the the only thing my family could get me to talk about was my car. Actually that's still the case except now they've just stopped talking to me...

I have aluminum subframe bushings and love them. I was warned that they'd be really stiff but like Mariano said I love being able to feel the road. Now that all my bushings have been done I swear I can feel the yellow lines even.

    I love my car. :D

if you are going to daily drive your e30, do NOT put them in. The ride quality on the highway and other faster roads isn't so bad, but it's the in-town, pot hole obstacle course which can be very jarring. A mechanic also explained that it's not to good for the driveline because there is a lack of forgiveness in the rear end which gets transmitted to the driveline, and hurts the clutch feel. He also said it's more stress on the rear diff for the same reasons.
    You pay to play eh.

    ANGER
I have almost no subframe bushings, leaky steering rack, and deteriorating CABs and I still love driving the car, lol. I have the spare parts except the steering hoses lying around. Just gotta find time to get it to the mechanic plus get some $$ :(.

    /pointless post
I agree 100%. My car has only been put away for the winter for 2 weeks, and today when I got home from work in the Honda Accord, I got into my car just to roll the windows up (forgot to when I parked it), and I immediatley felt what you're talking about, and I didn't even drive it. I'm just endlessly excited about all the things I'm going to be doing this winter while it's parked, not having to worry about getting it done in time to drive to work on Monday, and how much better it's going to look and drive.
