Did you know there is also a real Baur-coupé? It was the product of Baur and Kohl. Kohl is a large BMW-dealer who sold many Baur TC's. And it wanted to sell a E30 Coupé. There are 4 of them build; in 2003 I saw one for sale, but didn't know what it was. So I wasn't interested. Asking price? 1500 euro's, about 1000 pounds. :x

The car pictured here is from a Baur TC Club member, who is restoring it to original, type I with Hartge H35 spoilerkit.

The back is steel with a plastic window, but the targa-panel is still in working order.
