Im getting 2500k! What should I do to my Stock 89 325i??

Well I should be getting 2500 bucks or so after I sell my second car to my grandparrents who are moving to town.

Ive been thinking of a few different things. I could either get a bunch of parts to change the stock status of my e30, or I could possilbe do an "m30" swap(If thats even possible. Havnt gotten a straight answer on that one) or save up for an m50/s50 swap.

If I decide to get a bunch of parts I would most likely be getting an H & R Cup kit some sort of BBS wheels (havent decided which ones. I liek the RC's though; Do they make RC replicas?) JC Chip KN w/ HS Infinity Lip Strut Bar new stereo maybe a fresh coat of white paint along with painting the black trim white and maybe do something with the exhaust if the funds allow me to.

What is your opinion on what you think I should do?

So you mean you are getting 2.5k. 2500k would be 2,500,000,000.

Suspension and brakes before anything else. Don't second guess it, just do it. More power is nothing and will turn you into nothing if you AND your car can't handle it.

this is irrelevant, but "k" usually means thousands, so 2.5 thousand would be $2500 ;)

edit: how about $2500 on racing/driving school(s)? :P

before you even think about any engine swaps get the nessisary stuff out of the way, suspension, rims/tires, bbk. Swapping a engine into a stock e30 would be pointless...you wouldn't be able to use it to it's full potential.

$1800 should give you a complete new suspension (a proper one). See if you can score some cheap wheels and put some good rubber on it. Then use the rest of the money for autocrossing / drivers schools.

koni adjustables, GC springs, ST swaybars, perhaps some new seats, and, then the rest of driving schools.

Of course, if you'd rather some showy mods.....

SS Exhaust, HID headlights, new lenses on all your headlights/fogs, euro trim, new wheels/tires, and a cheaper susp setup like an HR cup kit or something still of quality but less expensive than GC/koni's

Well, I initially wanted to get suspension and wheels, but my friend was telling me to go for the swap while I have a large sum of money becuase it is very rare that I ever get that kinda cash. And he was also saying how I could get the suspension and what not later because its a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to come by 500 bucks for those parts.

Personally I want a car thatll handle before I make it a fast car. I think suspension and a few light engine mods will suffice.

shit man you airsoft....spend that money on a verison 2 deagle, witha full metal kit, and also get a para ;)

Suspension/rims/tires will use up your $2,500 very fast, so don't get too ahead of yourself thinking about resprays and all that stuff.
